The Pre-Dental Club at the University of Rochester is dedicated to supporting and providing pre-dental students with the resources they need in order to be successful in their academics as well as providing the volunteering, shadowing, and research opportunities necessary to build a well-rounded dental school application. The Pre-Dental club focuses on bringing more awareness to dentistry as a possible pre-health field within the University of Rochester curriculum for students to become interested in and get into. Professionals in dentistry have often lacked overall diversity; raising awareness of the importance of Oral Care on campus can help facilitate greater interest among many groups on campus.
